1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device while you browse. They help remember preferences, analyse site usage and, in some cases, deliver targeted advertising.
2. Cookies we use
Technical (always active)
We do not use first-party technical cookies. The cookie consent preference is stored in your
browser's
localStorage (technically not a cookie but plays a similar role) so we don't have to
ask again.
Analytics (optional — require your consent)
If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, traffic sources, time on page). Google is the controller of this data per their privacy policy.
- _ga, _ga_*: identify unique users. Lifespan: 2 years.
- _gid: distinguishes users. Lifespan: 24 hours.
Stripe (during payment)
When you complete a booking, you are redirected to Stripe Checkout (stripe.com), which sets its own cookies for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. Those cookies are governed by the Stripe privacy policy.
3. Managing and withdrawing consent
On your first visit a banner appears where you can accept or reject analytics cookies. If you reject, Google Analytics will not load. You can change your mind at any time:
- Clear site data in your browser to reset the preference and see the banner again.
- Block third-party cookies in your browser's privacy settings.
4. Disabling cookies in your browser
